This treatment, also referred to as sublative rejuvenation, is an FDA-approved treatment that gently resurfaces the skin over 3 to 4 treatments. The science behind eMatrix Sublative Rejuvenation is the use of RF technology, or radio frequency energy. This energy is created by generating extreme heat under the surface of the skin without actually disrupting the skin. The eMatrix process begins with the stimulation of collagen and elastin production at the base level of your skin. Post treatment, new collagen and healthy skin cells are produced resulting in more youthful, smooth appearance. The results include tighter, smoother, and brighter skin where the treatment was applied. Downtime for this type of treatment is 48 hours and may result in some mild roughness of the skin for 3 to 5 days. Please note that makeup can be applied to the skin after the initial 48 hour period. Over the next 3-4 months, you will continue to see positive results with the treated areas and after the final treatment the treated areas can be maintained annually.
