Tara is the newest apprentice to join complexions Salon. After working for a few years at a CPA firm in Boston, she decided to change careers. Tara moved back home to Albany, New York and attended Austin School of Spa Technology. Upon completion, she decided to take the path of an apprenticeship with the help of Complexions Salon team. Tara is both dedicated and eager to advance her skills in preparation for a successful future as a stylist. At this point she has already completed her make up artistry and does an excellent job with beautiful applications.

- Jenna Collandra - Hair Stylist

Jenna started at Complexions Salon and Spa as an associate/apprentice and honed her skills and experience by working under the senior stylists in the Hair Design Studio at Complexions and by attending classes with Redken's Salon Professional Academy as well as Rene Furterer. After excelling through the training program she joined the other professionals as a stylist.
Jenna has quickly gained popularity with Complexions clients due to her down-to-earth approach to styling techniques and her extremely creative eye. Her work can already be seen in several print publications and on television. She plans to continue her education and professional growth by taking more classes with top hair stylist educators and at the Redken Exchange Academy.
Jenna takes great pride in her friendly attitude; she also brings a true sense of "fun" to the Salon/Spa-for clients and co-workers alike! She strives to provide every one of her clients with a truly one-of-a-kind styling experience that keeps them coming back.

- Courtney Baker - Hair Stylist

Courtney began her distinguished career in 2004. She started her training at an Aveda Concept Salon, and continued her education with Paul Mitchell, Redken, and Rene Furterer.
Joining Complexions Salon/Spa in 2006 as a Redken Specialist, her passion and talent grew with the continuing education programs. She adheres to the highest standards when serving her clients. Her goal is to make them look and feel their best. "I love to express my creativity by customizing each color and cut to fit my clients' desires. I also like to keep them educated on the latest trends and styles in fashion."
Courtney continues her education at the Redken Exchange Academy and is very excited to become a "Certified Color Specialist" at the Exchange in New York City this winter. In addition to hairstyling Courtney also offers manicures and pedicures as well as makeup artistry.

- Pamela Drost - Hair Stylist

Hailing from Foxboro, MA, Pamela first pursued a career in communication Arts only to recognize that her life long passion involved expressing her personal creativity through professonal hair design. Recently, Pamela relocated to the Albany, NY area to join the professional stylist staff at Complexions Salon and Spa.
As one of the top graduates from Arthur Angelo's School of Cosmetology, Pamela has been practicing since 2003. Her advanced education includes a Redken Certification, Wella Hair Color Certification (Wella Trends), and numerous advanced hair training programs.
Pamela believes that listening to her clients and developing a level of trust is essential to providing her clients with a comfortable and positive salon experience. She loves seeing the smiles on her clients faces when they look in the mirror at the end of their experience. She has been active as a stylist to professional models and was a featured stylist in Providence Magazine.

- Melanie Staucet - Hair Stylist

Melanie first worked in the mortgage industry and realized her true passion was for the beauty industry. After completing school she began her career working under top stylists as an apprentice and excelled through the program to become a well-rounded stylist.
Melanie joined Complexions in 2008 as a stylist and colorist who enjoys using her skills to make each of her clients look and feel their best. she has taken many continuing education classes through Paul Mitchell, Goldwell, and Redken. Melanie stays on top of all the current trends and styles. She is recognized for her warm personality and technical ability. Melanie loves interacting with her clients giving them a thorough consultation. She not only develops a new look but also teaches them how to recreate it at home. She also has a unique ability in the art of eyebrow shaping and is trained as a Spa Nail Technician as well.

- Kiersten Hellert - Hair Stylist

With more than ten years of experience in the beauty industry , Kiersten blends advanced hair cutting and coloring with a long history as a stylist to deliver a service that is sure to turn heads. Starting as a freelance makeup artist in 1998, Kiersten continued to fuel her passion for beauty by attending advanced coloring and cutting academies, such as New York City's reputable Toni & Guy and Oscar Bond. She also obtained vast experience via advance in salon training programs.
Kiersten's niche for styling was soon recognized by Saks Fifth Avenue where she was a senior color specialist. Demonstrating her mastery of cut and color, Kiersten's experience transcended the salon as she honed her skills behind the scenes at fashion shows and front-and-center at benefits. Passing along some of the skills and techniques Kiersten acquired, she began teaching beauty techniques when she returned home to the Capital District. We are very excited to have Kiersten join our team of stylists passed this year.

- Kimberly Hannell - Hair Stylist

A recent hair stylist to runway, print and television fashion models in New york City, Kimberly recently returned to the Capital district, bringing experience and modern, fashion-forward techniques in both hair-coloring and stying to Complexions Salon and Spa as a senior stylist. When she began her career she honed her skills by studying at Bumble & Bumble, Vidal Sassoon, The Studio, and The Redken Exchange in Manhattan. Kim then moved to NYC and spent a year working and apprenticing under renowned celebrity stylist Nick Arrojo, (formerly of TLC's "What Not to Wear") and his team of prestigious stylists and colorists.
Kim is eager to reconnect with clients and old friends in the Albany area and share the innovative techniques she learned during her apprenticeship. She loves to create fun, wearable, customized looks for each client while giving them the tools they need to recreate hi-end salon styles at home. Kim is passionate about perfecting her craft and sharing her knowledge with colleagues, and looks forward to building upon her experiences at Complexions.

With nearly ten years of professional hair styling expereince to her credit, Eli joined Complexions Salon and Spa in 2006. Early in her career Eli was a platform cutting artist for RUSK, an international hair styling company. As a nationally recognized Certified Hair Colorist her portfolio includes work featured in several print publicaions and on television.
Eli's passion for hair styling is apparent to each of her clients. She takes the time to learn each client's style, preferences, and individual taste to best transformtheir "look" into a style that is perfect and customized to them. As a senior stylist, her work in hair color and personalized styling techniques is an inspiration to the entire team at Complexions Salon/Spa, and her clients admire her attention to every detail during their visit to the spa.

- Brent DeVarnne - Master Barber

Brent joined Complexions Spa and Salon as a Master Barber. He has already built a great reputation and a strong following. He graduated from Austin School of Spa Technology where he excelled in their Master Barber program. Additionally, he was featured in "Who's Who" at the school. From there he perfected his techniques with renowned stylist Jim Jones from Paul Mitchell and his barbering techniques with the ART of SHAVING. His attention to detail, customer service, and creating the ultimate in men's grooming, are what make us proud to have him a part of our team.
