How Laser Hair Removal (aka ‘Permanent Hair Reduction’) Works

After more than 14 years in the hair removal business, I’m happy to report that today’s lasers offer a wonderful option for those looking to eliminate hair from unwanted areas with a lot less pain then electrolysis (which while permanent, can sometimes require 15-30 visits for best results). That said, we do not tell anyone that it will remove every single hair for ever and ever. Instead, we tell our clients that they may need a few touch up treatments annually. There are things such as hormones, age, pregnancy, stress and medications that can influence future hair growth. As always, each case is unique, so if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at the spa.

Why We Buy OPI (Hint: OPI Makes a Great Green, Healthy, Non-Toxic Nail-Polish)

With so many nail polishes available today it can be overwhelming when trying to choose the best one. Why do I choose to use OPI Nail Polish. I have used many different nail polishes available in the nail industry. Aside of fun quirky names, I have discovered from experience that OPI nail polish is one of the most durable and longest lasting nail polishes available. OPI nail polish stays on in some cases for at least up to two weeks! Since 2006, OPI has reformulated its entire line of Nail Lacquers, Nail Treatments, and Nail Hardeners to eliminate DBP (dibutyl phthalate) and Toluene.

Organic Sunless Tanning – Peak Season Equals Now

This process prepares the skin’s surface in order for our massage therapist to apply an even layer of sunless tanning lotion. Any accumulation of dead cells can lead to blotching and uneven looking color. The lotion is applied using gentle, efflaurage massage movements which completely relaxes our guest. The results are beautifully bronzed, smooth skin which lasts for approximately 7 days.

For my first post, I wanted to share with you the answers to a few of these most frequently asked questions. Hopefully they will help you with any concerns you may have or often wondered about.
